Killer: Raymond Lee Stewart
- In January and February of 1981, Stewart, a black serial murderer, killed 6 people (4 in Wisconsin and 2 in Illinois) in 4 different locations (a grocery store, 2 gas stations, and a Radio Shack). His victims were both black and white, and his motive was unclear.

Killer: Cleophus Prince
- Prince murdered six San Diego women between January and September of 1990. Nicknamed the "Clairemont Killer," the determination of his motive and the signature aspects of the crimes led to his capture.

Killer: Tien Poh Su
- In the mid-1980s, a Malaysian college student, Delianna Heng, was found in the bathroom of her own apartment in Toronto, lying face-down with her head next to the toilet bowl and her legs bound at the ankles with a belt. She had been beaten and sexually assaulted. If the killed, Tien Poh Su, had not been caught after this murder, he likely would have become the next serial murderer in Canada.

Killer: Paul Kenneth Bernardo
- Together with his wife, Karla Leanne Homolka, Bernardo abducted, beat, sexually attacked, and killed Kristen French (age 15), of Ontario as well as Leslie Mahaffy (age 15) and Homolka's younger sister, Tammy Lyn (age 15). Before the case was solved, the murders of French and Mahaffy were dubbed the "Schoolgirl Murders." When Bernardo was captured, detectives realized that he was also the "Scarborough Rapist," who had terrorized the northeast suburb of Toronto from May 1987 through May 1990.

Victim: Suzanne Marie Collins (Age 19)
- On July 11, 1985, U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Suzanne Marie Collins was killed by Sedley Alley, a twenty-nine-year-old married laborer, in a public park near the Memphis Naval Air Station. While not a sexual sadist, Alley sadistically projected all of his anger, hostility, and feelings of inferiority onto this unsuspecting young woman who was just out for jog.

Victim: Alison Parrott (Age 11)
- In July of 1986, Alison Parrott disappeared after leaving her house on a Friday morning and her body was found in a local park. The killer, who was determined to be a sexual sadist, has still never been found to this day.

Victim: Christine Jessup (Age 9)
- On October 3, 1984, Christine was last seen buying bubble gum on her way home from school in Queensville, Ontario. Her body, spread-eagled and uncovered, was found many miles from the abduction point. The man who fit the offender profile, Guy Paul Morin, was convicted for the murder, but her was later released because his DNA did not match that which was found on Christine's body. This case is still open today.

Victim: Cassandra Lynn Hansen (Age 6)
- On the evening of November 10, 1981, Cassie was attending a church service with her mother and younger sister in St. Paul, Minnesota. She got up to go to the bathroom, and was never seen alive again. The next morning, her clothed body was discovered tucked in the corner of a dumpster about three miles from the church. Stuart Knowlton, a fifty-year-old white male cab driver, was eventually arrested and convicted for the crime.

Victim: Shawn Moore (Age 13) & Victim: Kenny Myers (Age 15)
- On July 18, 1984, two boys found the partially clothed body of fifteen-year-old Kenny Myers of Ferndale, Michigan. This case remained unsolved until Ronald Lloyd Bailey was arrested for Shawn Moore's murder.
- On August 31, 1985, Shawn was abducted while riding his bike to the local convenience store to buy a root beer. The case was treated as a kidnapping until September 13, 1985, when his nude body was discovered by the side of a road, covered with a tent of leaves, twigs, and brush.

Victims: Nancy Newman (Age 33), Melissa Newman (Age 8), & Angie Newman (Age 3)
- On March 13, 1987, Nancy Newman and her two daughters were sexually assaulted and murdered in their own apartment in Anchorage, Alaska, in one of the cruelest and most brutal crimes the investigators had ever seen. Kirby Anthoney, Nancy's husband's nephew was eventually charged for the murders.

Victim: Carolyn Hamm (Age 32)
- On February 6, 1984, David Vasquez was arrested and charged with the murder of Carolyn Hamm two weeks earlier. However, after Timothy Spencer, the "black masked rapist" of 1983, was found guilty of the 1987 rape and capital murder of Susan Tucker, it became clear that Spencer was also Carolyn Hamm's killer and that investigators had gotten the wrong man. Vasquez was released from prison in 1989.
